Bella came to us from a country pound due to a relationship breakdown. She is young, full of energy and would suit a Husky experienced household with another canine friend for company.
Bella will need ongoing training to brush up on her on-lead manners as she can pull a bit. She is very responsive to training and enjoys working with her humans, so a home with some training background would be highly desirable to continue this youngster’s development.
Bella is good with other dogs, however she is not great with cats, chooks, rabbits, other small animals and livestock. She can be protective of her food however, so she would need to be fed in a separate area away from other dogs to avoid any squabbles.
Bella has lived with children in the past so a home with kids that are at least 12 years old and older would be okay for her. Bella can’t never be off-lead as she will not come back when called, and she will require 6 foot high secure fencing that is dig proof to prevent her from escaping. Bella would not suit apartment living or small units.
Bella will need:
- A Husky experienced home
- A home with no cats, chooks, rabbits or other small pets or livestock
- A reasonable sized yard with secure, dig-proof, 6 foot high fencing
- Ongoing obedience training
- Always to be walked on lead
