BJ & Angel

Male & Female
7 year & 6 year old
Alaskan Malamute
Special Needs:
Only Dog:

This lovable Mally pair are on the hunt for a new family to have a chat with every day - lots of chats. Lots and lots of chats. Some of it will be chit chat. Some will be backchat. Some will be hurry up I want to go for a walk chat. Needless to say, you need to be prepared to embrace the woowoo!

BJ is a very big boy, likes to talk a big talk about how tough he is, but in reality is a big softy that needs his humans to encourage him to be brave (it’s a 5 minute job to build up the courage to jump in the back of the Ute. Angel is a bit smaller (standard Mally girl size) and the braver of the two and the most affectionate- she will do anything for a belly rub. She can get over-excited at times and jumps around and forgets her manners (or just tests to see what she can get away with!) but calms down quickly when she realises that behaviour will not get her what she wants.

Both dogs adore their daily walks, but are still in training with their lead skills - they like to pull, but are working hard on their loose lead manners. They need a family committed to continue this work. These guys are very easy to live with- they just want to be where their people are. They will happily sleep in your room if you let them, but are just as happy with the lounge room. They are used to being by themselves during the day, so long as you ease them into the routine to begin with.

They both have some hilarious idiosyncratic traits that will have you shaking your head and wondering how you ever lived without them!

BJ and Angel need a home with secure fencing, not other pets and are suitable with older children.
